The Board of Directors of Public Welfare Foundation approved over $2.2 million in grants to four organizations, including $1.1 million as part of the Workers’ Rights Program portfolio transition and $1.1 million for the Criminal Justice Program.

Support for state policy advocacy for low-wage workers in Oregon.
Community Labor United – Boston, MA – ($525,000– 2 years)
Support for state and local policy advocacy for low-wage workers in Massachusetts.
Criminal Justice Program
Southern Center for Human Rights – Atlanta, GA – ($500,000– 2 years)
Support for statewide advocacy and coalition building to advance justice reform.
Texas Criminal Justice Coalition – Austin, TX – ($670,000– 2 years)
Support to advance adult and youth justice reforms in Texas.
