The Board of Directors of Public Welfare Foundation approved over $1 million in grants, including $415K as part of the Midwest Justice Reform program and $602K for the Legacy Justice Reform portfolio.

Justice Reform – Michigan
Michigan Center for Youth Justice – Ann Arbor, MI – ($415,000– 2 years)
Support to advance decarceration and reform Michigan’s youth justice system.
Justice Reform – Legacy
New Jersey Institute for Social Justice – Newark, NJ – ($602,000– 2 years)
Support for campaign to close youth prisons and reinvest in communities.
