The Board of Directors of Public Welfare Foundation approved $800K in grants, including $400K for the Legacy portfolio and $400K for the Special Opportunity portfolio.
Here are the two organizations that are receiving grants:
Legacy
Justice Reform
Community Connections for Youth – Bronx, NY – ($400,000– 2 years)
Support for effective community-driven alternatives to incarceration for youth.
Special Opportunity
Evaluation
ORS Impact – Seattle, WA – ($400,000– 3 months)
Support for a programmatic evaluation of the Foundation’s work.
