Christopher Graham is the Head of Investment Strategy and Chief Investment Officer at Nationwide Asset Management. The Investment Strategies team has responsibility for manager selection, asset allocation and product management for Nationwide’s Mutual Funds. He joined Nationwide Asset Management in 2004.
Chris has previous experience in many aspects of financial services. After working as an investment banking analyst for Salomon Brothers Inc. in New York, Chris took an investment banking position with Gold Coast Securities in Accra, Ghana. He also has private equity and mergers and acquisitions experience working for Borden Capital Management Partners and spent time as an advisor at Salomon Smith Barney. Chris is a Robert A. Toigo fellow, served on Nationwide’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, led the United Way campaign for Nationwide’s Finance organization, and serves on the board at the Columbus School for Girls. In 2016, Chris received the Institutional Investors award for Excellence in Absolute Return, Insurance. Chris earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Hampton University in Virginia and his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
